Hard Work vs Shortcuts in regards to Success
Big Week Ahead!
I am running SOLO Dad duty all week, while Susan is out of town for a mastermind. She is with all the top minds in the High-End Home Organization biz.
I have to be super efficient this week to fit in gym time, work, meetings, horse riding, volleyball, soccer, football, dinner, and more.
Although, they will be buying lunch more this week than normal 😆

6 controversial content marketing tips that get results: (People hate these, but they work)
1. Sell constantly
There’s this idea in content marketing that you need to overwhelm with value, then sell.
That often leads to never selling much at all. Give a lot of value. Sell a lot too.
Do both.
2. Exclude people
Not everybody is your ideal follower, subscriber, or buyer. That’s okay. In fact, it’s a good thing.
You want to specialize. So exclude people. Say who’s right for your brand, and say who isn’t.
3. Start drama
You don’t need to start drama with specific people (though you might find that it’s very effective).
Instead, give bold opinions and generally attack other viewpoints. People love drama and differentiation.
4. Use negativity
“5 tips to get higher ROI” is good. “5 mistakes that crush ROI” might get more clicks and buyers.
Don’t build a negative brand, but inject negativity here and there. It’s persuasive and hard to ignore.
5. Use clickbait
Clickbait gets a bad name because the people who use it almost never back it up with real value. I say use it, but then actually deliver on it.
Being a bit bombastic is okay if you back it up.
6. Find safety in email
That tip isn’t controversial, but this idea is: if you don't have an email list, you don’t have a business.
That’s because social platforms can take your following away anytime.
Build your list. ASAP.
Hard Work vs Shortcuts
Success in any endeavor requires more than just putting in the hours.
It demands a mindset that embraces hard work, attention to detail, and a commitment to going the extra mile.
As tempting as it might be to take shortcuts or to try and hack your way to the top – there is no replacement for straight-up hard work.
The true value of dedicated effort comes from the personal investment put into achieving a goal. This outweighs any money or time saved.
Giving your ALL to something… putting in your blood, sweat, and tears… is an emotional investment in your work.
When you put your heart into something, you feel inherently motivated to go the lengths to see that it succeeds.
And even though the risk of failure is greater when we’re emotionally attached to a project… so are the rewards.
And despite the difficult emotions that come with failure, it serves as a valuable feedback mechanism.
If we don't succeed, it's an indication that something along the way wasn't done right.
It implies that we don't consider ourselves worthy of the effort required for success.
Anything you invest your time in should directly benefit you – and therefore deserves 110% of your effort.
When we allow laziness to creep in, we undermine our own worth.
And the end product of a lazy approach is often not worth any effort at all.
Instead, choose to give your all to whatever you undertake.
By doing so, you ensure its success by refusing to give up and avoiding shortcuts.

We are just under 6 months out from moving into our new home.
Back in September 2022, Susan and I purchased 6 acres to build a family home on.
It’s been a long process, but exciting one.
This past weekend we headed over to the house to write scripture on the walls before drywall goes up.
You can see the pics over here.
Rooting for ya!
