2 of the Best Niches For A Newsletter

Every good business owner knows these things

Welcome to Uncommon Advice, where we get into all things marketing and money.

Lately, I have found myself Busy Being Busy. Have you ever been there?

I hate when it happens, because important things don’t get done. More Importantly, we can’t get that time back and time is our most valuable asset.

If you are busy being busy like I was - snap out of it 😜

Anyways, lets’s dive in!

Your Uncommon Advice for today covers:

  • Every good business owner knows this

  • How I turned 12 pillows into 200K Profit

  • 2 of the best newsletter niches

  • Kennedy Khronicles: Adversity on the football field

Every good business owner knows these two things

Look past any of the nitty gritty in business – strategies, sales, spreadsheets, etc – and you’ll find two pillars that underpin everything:

Time and Relationships.

Two irreplaceable commodities that, when combined, can propel you to unparalleled success.

Time, however, once spent, is gone forever.

While money can be earned back… moments cannot.

This is why the quality of how we spend our time becomes paramount:

Relationships.

Not just any relationship – the right ones.

The relationships that foster growth, challenge our perspectives and push us towards our true potential.

If time is the currency, then relationships are the investments.

And like any investment, the returns can be exponential if chosen wisely.

However, the key is not how many relationships – but rather how you nurture them.

And in surrounding yourself with individuals who encourage you to become the best version of yourself.

This will do more than elevate your business – this will elevate your life.

So, as you navigate your entrepreneurial journey, remember to ask yourself:

Am I investing my time in relationships that truly matter?

As long as the answer is yes, you have a path to success in business and personal fulfillment.

2 of the Best Niches For A Newsletter

Not sure which niche to choose for your content business?

I got you.

The quick answer is…

  1. Health

  2. Money

But there’s a lot more to this.

Let’s go over the details and give you specific ideas within those two.

1. Health

Why it gets attention: People want to stay alive, feel good, and look good.

Why it generates profit: That desire inspires people to purchase solutions.

Specific examples:

Fitness and nutrition advice specifically for people over 40 years old.

Mental health and burnout avoidance for professionals with stressful jobs.

2. Money

Why it gets attention: Almost everyone on earth wants more money. Badly.

Why it generates profit: That desire inspires people to purchase solutions.

Specific examples:

Trading and investing ideas for people who play the stock market.

Strategies for building digital brands, especially newsletters (that’s one thing I do).

What’s the overarching theme?

First, people pay attention when you address the biggest problems in their lives.

Second, if you give them actionable advice that helps, they’ll buy from you too.

If you don’t know where to start, consider these two broad niches.

Find something specific inside one of them. Make it your own. Then start building.

Kennedy Khronicles

This past weekend we had a 7v7 football tournament with our teams at Champions Football, our non-profit.

The team I coach has been struggling to put all the pieces together and close out games.

They went 0-3 on day one. Two of the losses happened on the last play of the game.

The team is full of 11 and 12 year old players that are use to winning, so it’s been frustrating to say the least for them, the parents, and us coaches.

The thing I love about sports is the lessons kids can learn about life.

A key one this weekend that I dove into was how we handle adversity matters.

They can either be a Quitter or Winner.

Quitters fold with excuses.

Winners keep putting in the work.

Sure enough on Sunday, we found ourselves in another game that came down to the final play.

This time the boys rose to the occasion and pulled out the win.

Rooting for ya!
